Like Nothing Before
The Model for Culture Night Sligo
Friday 25th September, 6 pm until late

For Sligo’s inaugural Culture Night on Friday 25th September, The Model is organising several key events that will occupy the city centre. For one night in September, Cultural Organisations around Ireland will throw open their doors until 10pm at night, devising specific and free events for the public as new ways to engage with Culture and the Arts.

The Model’s focus is to ensure that Culture Night Sligo goes well beyond opening doors of art institutions, to spill out into the streets of Sligo and engage audiences directly. In this way, Culture Night Sligo is to be a unique art-weekend experience, not replicated anywhere else on the island. Art activities will commence again the day after Culture Night in the form of the art festival Gracelands on Saturday.
