Classic Music for Chamber Orchestra

Sat 18 Aug | 8.00pm | €15/12

Having last year celebrated the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth, The Sligo Early Music Ensemble will this year return on Saturday August 18th with another Mozart seasoned concert celebrating the great composers creations at the Model Arts and Niland Gallery. Entitled A Summers Evening of Classical Music for Chamber Orchestra the programme begins with Mozart's ever popular, and indeed one of his most beautiful concertos - piano concerto in Bflat (No. 27).

…emerging music…

The Model is looking for locally based (sligo.leitrim) emerging musicians and producers to form a peer led support group to occasionally meet and discuss their work. The Model can offer space to meet, advice on funding opportunities and alternative supports, as identified by the group, to advance music making in the northwest.  If you think you might be interested email aoifeflynn@modelart.ie.  This is an open call and all practicing musicians in all genres are invited to get in touch with ideas for what is most needed/useful to them.
