MC
John Colleary presents David O'Doherty,
with support from Keith Farnan |
| |
|
| |
Our
favourite purveyor of low-key musical whimsy David O'Doherty
is best known for his 80's style Yamaha keyboard action
and his side-splitting stories. An Edinburgh hero year after
year his 2005 show was described as "an absolute joy".
He crafts marvellous one-liners and has a hugely enjoyable
way of rolling words around and playing with them, getting
more laughs than you would believe possible. He will "leave
you beaming". (The London Evening Standard) |

"Those
of us who believe that this is the best show on the Fringe
are keeping it to ourselves." ***** |

We're
also delighted to welcome back support Keith Farnan,
who last appeared on the Craic stage with Reuben in 2005.
Fresh from a successful Cat Laughs Festival in Kilkenny,
Keith is now plying his trade on the London and UK comedy
circuit. With an energetic and full-bodied cocktail of stand-up
comedy, he mixes up the political and parochial with a worldly
wit to give his own Irish/Corkonian skewered version of
the world to provide a friendly, fast-paced, frenzy of funny.(try
saying that 3 times quickly!)

"One
of the best sets I've seen in ages....Fresh, interesting and
doesn't use smut as a means of getting a cheap laugh". |
