The
exhibition at the Model included a series of wooden
installations, entitled Anatomy.
Anatomy features models of human organs made from
earth, roots and wood. These
pieces bring to mind man’s own immortality and raise
questions about the nature of the human body.
Anatomy also features wooden replicas of an operating
theatre and a dentist’s chair, and although these pieces
initially appear light-hearted, closer inspection reveals a
nightmarish quality.
