The Model takes an integrated approach to programming,
with a strong focus on contemporary culture and relevant
global currencies mediated inclusively to diverse audiences.
The Model is now undergoing a major redevelopment that
will see its operations and programme expand by over
one third.
The Model is currently seeking Curatorial Interns for
its 2010 visual art programme. Internships will support
Model contemporary art programming, collection programming
and development, Model projects, and The Model studios
programme in forms of administrative support, hands-on
experience with exhibition production and artist support,
and research, writing and scholarship that overlaps
with candidates’ areas of research. The Model
is also developing a quarterly publication that expands
writing across Model programming and into international
discourse and scholarship. Other programming, including
Model Music and Model Education Programming may overlap
with internships.

Internships are available for three, six and twelve
month durations.

Graduate student interns may gain credits from their
institutions as part of their role in The Model’s
programme.
