Sligo New Music
Saturday September 20th

The Model is planning a day of New Music on Saturday September 20th to mark the Sligo New Music Festival.  There will be three concerts in different venues around Sligo featuring an exciting selection of works. Featured composers include innovative Dutch composer Jacob TV performed by award-winning saxophonists the Amstel Quartet and French/Romanian composer Horatiu Radulescu performed by Irish pianist Maria McGarry. There will also be works by Stockhausen, Philip Glass, Gavin Bryars and Erkki-Sven Tüür. The programme will include the world premiere of a new work by Siobhán Cleary.
