For you, only you:
Live
Sat 1 and Sun 2 November 2008
Choral group Alimere will be joined by sound artist and vocalist
Mikhail Karikis for four unique live performances of For you,
only you conceived for a number of distinctive sites in Sligo.

3.00pm Sat 1 Nov
Sligo Abbey
Known locally as the
Abbey, this Dominican Friary was founded
in the mid – 13th century by Maurice Fitzgerald. The site
contains a great wealth of carvings including Gothic and Renaissance
tomb sculpture, well preserved cloister and the only sculptured
15th century high altar to survive in any Irish monastic church.
The Abbey is partially ruined and the site is a beautiful and
inspiring one, and will make for a dramatic backdrop for the
first live performance.*
8.00pm Sat 1 Nov
Drumcliffe Church
The Cemetery at Drumcliffe Church is the final resting place
of W.B.Yeats and the site of a 6th century Columbian monastery.
Drumcliffe Church stands on this beautiful site, nestling under
Benbulben Mountain.
